Swiss!

It's snowing today!!! I am so going to play with the snow later.. Things in Swiss are generally more expensive compared to Singapore except for mayb chocolates.. I bought the cheapest chocolates I can find in the supermarket (around SGD60cents) and it still taste really good! Lindt chocolates are also cheaper than in Singapore if I am not mistaken.

I am trying to get used to the food here but I really miss the food back home.. I want to eat fried kway tiao, laksa, durian, steam buns, xiaolongbao and many many more.. And I also miss the company of my family, lao pos and mistress and friends.. :)

German is really hard and sian! I can't wait for my German course to be over.. Then I can take a walk around Zurich.. The other day, I saw a really beautiful river but I didn't have the time to take a picture of it.. Think I will go back there on another day..

Thanks Chris (if you are reading) for giving my blog a new look! I know you are busy with your work and studies yet you still fork out time to do something so dumb for me.. THANKS! You are a wonderful friend!!

I am also really really surprised that my ex-neighbor dropped by today to pass me a gift before I leave Singapore. I am really touched that she made the effort to develop the photos, write the cards, buy the present and pass me it to me personally. I am really glad and proud that I have this thoughtful and loyal friend with me all these years. Maybe she didn't realise it but her support and encouragement mean a lot to me. I also hope that she will find a suitable course and in time to come, pass her examinations with flying colours!!!

Of course, I need to thank my sweet Lao Po who got me the Crabtree and Evelyn gift set!!! I will definitely use the things!! Lao Po, pls take care and dun meet weird pple k.. Haha..

Last but not least, I want to thank my Uni friends for the rice cooker they got me. I am sure it will come in handy!

Strangely, I dun feel that excited.. Instead, I feel quite sad that I have to leave my friends and family behind (even though it's only a few months).. I guess I will miss everybody.. Haha..

Things I din expect:
1. Movable 'jetty'
2. Clear, blue and really salty seawater
3. Breathtaking scenery
4. Jellyfish in the water that I have to avoid!
5. Ants in my room
6. Yummy mango juice
7. Snorkeling is not really for me..
8. Big and I mean really big fishes in the water
9. Long traveling hours
10. Sky filled with stars!!
11. Beautiful seashells

Overall, it was a really fun and relaxing holiday.. If they have spa facilities over there, it will be perfect (Seriously, I am not asking for a lot).. Haha.. Of course, it would not have been an enjoyable holiday without great company, so thanks lao pos n mistress for everything!!!

Haha.. I totally forgot abt my blog.. Hm, think I need to change a few things and try to update more regularly too.. There are SO MANY things I want to do during this holiday so I have been really busy.. I am still not very sure about my holiday destination yet because I still need to sort out some details with my lao pos but it will definitely be fun with them around!!!

So how did I spend my holiday?

For a start, I went to K-box, Expo for the IT fair and John Little Sale, shopping at Orchard, Suntec and Tampines. I also watched two good movies (Hero and Stardust). I highly recommend Stardust to all those who would fancy a romantic love story.. Haha.. I simply love things the female lead said abt love: Love is unconditional, unexpected, unpredictable.. (and much more but I can't remember everything.. I was too amazed to register everything she said)
I also ate the mud pie at the Coffee Club and it's as good (and sinful) as they said.. LOL

Well, I need to exercise soon otherwise all the fats are just going straight to my face. I seriously dun understand why my face is SO chubby.. :( If the weather permits, I will be jogging with Chris later.. There are also quite a number of chores I have to do around the house.. I have yet to mop the floor (poor me), iron clothes and tidy up my room.. So many things to do but I am still blogging away.. Haha.. Well, even a maid needs a vacation.

Can't believe my lao po is so high these days.. We haven't even start our drinking rounds and she's so excited. Wonder wat's going to happen when we're in Genting. I just hope they dun wrap me with the blanket and sit on me like they said they would. -_-'''

Before my Genting trip, I guess I will continue to meet all my friends (esp. those I haven't had the chance to catch up with them) and enjoy good food. ^_^

My exams are finally over!!! It has been such a tough semester (especially near the study break).. I am just glad everything has come to an end and it's holiday!! Dun dare to think about my results cos I am sure it's just going to be bad.. Guess I just have to work harder next semester to make up for the mistakes that I made this semester.

But in any case, I am just thankful to have my close friends and family who supported me. Without their words of encouragement and company, I am not sure whether I will be able to pull through so I am really grateful to have them with me. I guess I must be a really lucky gal to have so many pple who are concerned about me. ^_^

So I hope to spend more time with them this holiday! Not to mention my trip to Genting with my lao pos!! Really looking-forward to it.. I also have a hidden agenda for going there.. LOL..
